A popular Uptown sports bar that closed earlier this year because of the pandemic will reopen on Lower Greenville.
Christies Sports Bar & Grill will occupy the former Slater’s 50/50 space at 2817 Greenville Ave. It is scheduled to open early next year.
In July, the bar closed its location at 2811 McKinney Ave. after 29 years because of a lack of cooperation with its landlord during the coronavirus pandemic.
Christies hosted a series of takeovers at East Dallas bar High Fives before announcing the move to a new location.
Owner Ashton Christie did not return a request for comment.
