Some fowl are on the loose.
A rooster and two chickens were spotted by a neighbor at West Lawther Drive and Williamson Road near White Rock Lake.
The sighting occurred around 7:40 a.m. today.
East Dallas neighbors have been taking in chickens for years. A few years ago, we wrote about a family who once lived upstairs in their Casa View house while their chickens lived on the first level. More recently, we wrote about the Holadays, who adopted chicks because they were allergic to dogs and cats.
