When my cat’s ears are back, I know I’d better watch out because she’s not happy. In fact, she apparently would have been a good model for Woodrow Wilson High School’s new logo.
As you probably know, Woodrow has been searching for a new school logo for a few months, in no small part because of a copyright infringement complaint concerning the earlier logo.
Well, the wait has ended: A father of two from New York submitted the winning bid after coming across the online request for entries from the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation, which sorted through 185 entries from 150 individuals before selecting Michael Condello’s for the $500 first prize. The money was donated by the school’s Alumni Association, the Woodrow PTA and parents Mindy Fagin and Susan Schuerger.
“I wanted to create a modern Wildcat that looked different from all the others out there and one that would give Woodrow a unique, sleek identity,” Condello says. “Plus, I wanted to be sure your football team will have a great logo for their helmets.”
