A man died Sunday night after his car crashed into a light pole in Old East Dallas, police said.
Fox 4 News reported that the man lost control of his vehicle near Gaston Avenue and Skillman Street around 10:30 p.m.
Conditions were described as rainy and wet at the time of the wreck.
The driver’s side of the car caved in, and firefighters had to cut the vehicle open to retrieve the man, according to the station.
