Highland Park Cafeteria in Casa Linda has been the place to get traditional holiday fare since 1925. During this season, Highland Park Cafeteria is serving classic Thanksgiving meals alongside its regular offerings. Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie can all be found at the restaurant or can be ordered for pick up, as long as they are ordered before Monday at 3 p.m. the week of Thanksgiving. Just be prepared to wait in line.

If you want something a little more upscale, but still want to take your comfort food home, The Grape is your place. Chef Brian Luscher is offering a Thanksgiving meal of smoked turkey or a Niman Ranch glazed hams with a choice of sides. These meats are paired with maple whipped sweet potatoes, sour cream and chive mashed potatoes, sausage and cornbread stuffing, and more. Finish things off with something sweet, like the Old Grand Dad Pecan Pie, pumpkin pie and a caramel apple crisp. Make your order before Saturday, Nov. 18, and pick up your meal on Wednesday, Nov. 22, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

For the less traditional, check out One90 Smoked Meats. These East Dallas barbecue maestros have assembled a special menu for the holiday season, including brisket, beef tenderloin, prime rib, and turkey. All meats are carved and packaged for easy pick-up. To order, call 214-346-3287 or email one90bbq@gmail.com.
