The former Burger King location has a revamped interior that will seat 70 with a dog-friendly patio for 20 more guests. The modern interior is eco-friendly, utilizing recycled materials and horizontal pine walls. Chairs are made from Coca-Cola bottles, countertops from recycled paper, and there is a large energy-efficient fan.

Their “chef-driven” menu is anchored by Angus beef with no steroids, hormones, chemicals or antibiotics. “Everything is made from scratch. There is no freezer in the building,” says Brandt Stravlo via media release. “The décor and products, from chairs to the ketchup packets, are made of recycled materials.” The burgers are even branded with a BurgerFi logo.

Two favorites are the CEO, which is a double Wagyu and brisket burger with candied bacon-tomato jam, truffle aioli and aged Swiss cheese. and the Conflicted Burger, an Angus burger and veggie burger served with American and white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and BurgerFi sauce. The menu also includes a VegeFi Burger made with quinoa. Hot dogs, fries, natural sugar sodas and craft beers also are served.

BurgerFi, which is short for “burgerfication”, will be located at 5456 E. Mockingbird Lane. There will soon be three other locations in the DFW area.
