If you’re the Martha Stewart type (and by that we mean well-organized, not potentially felonious), you’ve already started your seedlings indoors and nurtured them to healthy fruition. It’s now time to put them out in the garden. With that in mind, why not stop by the Dallas Arboretum’s gift shop to pick up some new gardening goodies? If you’ve never been, you’re missing out. The store goes above and beyond the average gift shop, with a selection of items, both for gardening and just for fun, that are useful, attractive and, often, quite well-priced. Shown here are a green rubber tub, $9.98; a kneeling mat, $8.98; clippers, $7.98; a mosaic watering can, $45; and, for the rookie gardener, a pair of frog-inspired rubber boots, $22. The gift shop is located within the Arboretum, at 8617 Garland . Admittance is $7 adults, $6 for seniors 65+, $4 children 3-12, and free for children 2 and under. For information, call 214-327-8263 and ask for the gift shop.
