The upcoming bond campaign is very beneficial for East Dallas!

The 1998  bond package will provide significant benefits citywide and in East Dallas. A tax increase is not needed to support the new bonds. The Trinity River portion of the package will entitle the City to receive more than $1.2 billion in federal funds. The Trinity River proposition also means that, at long last, the City will prepare 49 percent of its land mass for economic development. This development may mean a bigger tax base for  the entire City to share.
