Authorities investigating an unexplained death following the discovery of a body at the Tenison Park Golf Course in the Old East Dallas area Sunday afternoon, police said.
On September 24, 2023, at about 2:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call at 3500 block of Samuell Blvd. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, witnesses at the location found a man dead.
According to the Dallas Morning News, three golfers who were at the course were the ones who found the man’s body and contacted the police.
The identity of the man will not be released pending notification of next of kin, Public Information Officer Melinda Gutierrez, said. The unexplained death investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 171923-2023.
