District 14 Councilman Dave Blewett announced his intention to seek re-election to his City Council seat, according to a post on the District 14 Facebook page.
In his second try, Blewett defeated incumbent Philip Kingston in the 2019 election, less on a platform of specific municipal issues than a pledge of being less confrontational and more cooperative.
Gee, that sounds familiar.
As of now, no other candidates have emerged to oppose Blewett.
District 14 residents will make their choice May 1, 2021.
