The Advocate periodically features new businesses in our neighborhood, especially those that join the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber hosts monthly membership meetings at the Lakewood Country Club, along with a variety of informational and networking groups the remainder of the month.

Wright lives in Lakewood, and his children attend neighborhood schools. Lakewood Veterinary Center is a former Greater East Dallas Chamber member that let its membership lapse years ago. Wrights says he decided to rejoin the Chamber and its 100+ members to be more closely engaged with the community and support local businesses.

You can find Lakewood Veterinary Center at 5726 Belmont Ave. or visit lakewoodvetcenter.com.
