Bikini clad women between the ages of 18 and 34 will vie for the Texas crown in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International model search at the Village Country Club Saturday. The women will be judged on fitness, fashion, and of course, personality. They will compete in the categories of formal wear and swimwear.
The event is free and open to the public, and women can enter the contest up to an hour before the 3 p.m. start time. First prize is $750 and a trip to the U.S. finals next year. Second and third prizes are $250 and $150, respectively. There is no entry fee. The Village Country Club has a restaurant and bar, so no outside food and drink are allowed.
