Two other roommates found Ngendung acting strangely on Monday, and when they asked him about Mitchel, he responded, “Who’s Michael?” Mitchel lived with them for more than a year, according to the arrest affidavit.

Ngendung continued acting strangely, including dragging something out of his closet before putting it back. His roommates took him to the hospital and notified authorities that there may be a body in their apartment. Dallas Fire and Rescue discovered the body wrapped in a blanket. Marks indicated Mitchel was choked by a cord or rope.

Ngendung was arrested at the hospital and booked into Dallas County Jail, where he remains with a bail set at $200,000.
