He was charged with murder in the slaying of 26-year-old Arlington woman, Chynal Lindsey, and booked into the Dallas County jail on $500,000 bond.

When Lindsey’s body was pulled from the lake June 1, police said it exhibited signs of homicidal violence. She was discovered less than two weeks after 22-year-old Muhlaysia Booker was found fatally shot on a street in Far East Dallas.

Police arrested and charged Kendrell Lyles in Booker’s death. Prior to Alvarado’s arrest, Lyles was considered a person of interest in Lindsey’s slaying.
