The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is offering $5 general admission tickets to kick off the new year.
“The theme of this year is renewal, and we’re ready to get outdoors for some fresh air,” Vice President of Gardens Dave Forehand said in a statement.
Visitors can walk the 1-mile fitness trail or attend cooking demonstrations and tasting events at A Tasteful Place. Gardeners will also be busy preparing for the upcoming Dallas Blooms festival, which starts Feb. 20.
The discount will apply through January. All tickets must be purchased online.
The Arboretum is closed Jan. 1 and the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden will be closed for preventative maintenance until Feb. 19.
