There’s a new sweetshop on Henderson.
Annie’s Culinary Creations, a “boutique-style custom bakery,” opened on Henderson at the end of February in the old V Spot location, right next to the old Pearl Cup and the new Black Forest Biergarten.
According to Facebook, Annie’s  bakes pretty much anything sweet — cakes, cookies, cake balls, cupcakes, pies — for any occasion that might require some sugar. So if you need a cake shaped like a laptop computer, an SLR camera, a Dr. Pepper can, or a plate of hamburgers, you know where to find it.
The original Annie’s location is in Murphy, inside Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe. The Knox-Henderson location offers a new point of contact for the business with more kitchen and retail counter space.
