The Abrams Road and Skillman Street transportation surveys have been reopened. The deadline to provide commentary is Friday, Jan. 10.
The Skillman Street study aims to improve transportation between Live Oak Street and Abrams Road, while the Abrams Road study is meant to improve transportation between Richmond Avenue and Northwest Highway. The studies began in fall of 2023 and are projected to take one year to complete.
To date, both studies have been presented at two public meetings — the most recent meeting being on Nov. 7 2024 at the Lakewood Branch Library. The Nov. 7 meeting included updated recommendations that accounted for the initial resident input provided by the previous survey.
The last round of survey results — conducted online in May of 2024 — can be found here.
