Now is your chance to see 10 mayoral candidates in one place, from Max Wells and Don Hill to Roger Herrera — and you don’t even have to go too far from home. (The release from the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association, which is sponsoring the event, says all 10 candidates will participate, but there are 11, if I can count correctly.)
So be on hand at 8 p.m. Monday at the Lake Highlands Freshman Center, 10200 Church Road (just east of Skillman). Channel 11’s Stephanie Lucero will moderate.
Two predictions: First, all of the candidates will come out in favor of the proposed Lake Highlands town center, but won’t offer any more city money for it. Second, unless there is a noticeable East Dallas presence, the Trinity River corridor will not come up.
