Green Arrow and Black Canary were married this week, and Lone Star Comics in Hillside Village is throwing the DC Comics super hero couple a little bash — complete with wedding cake.
And what kind of wedding cake does one serve at this kind of event? Lone Star’s Amie Wilensky says it’s a white cake with a pink heart, with a black bird and a green arrow through the heart. Silly me for asking. The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday
If anyone goes and takes a picture, let me know and we’ll put it up here. Wilensky says there probably won’t be too many people in costume — these aren’t the biggest stars in the comics galaxy — but one never knows.
