Less than 20 months after opening its first Texas restaurant in Addison, Pollo Tropical is hosting a grand opening for its new location on Upper Greenville on Oct. 2.
Pollo Tropical is a fast casual restaurant known for its citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken and island-inspired sauces and sides.
Located just south of Lovers Lane at 4622 Greenville, Pollo Tropical will have a soft opening on Sept. 30. Then the grand opening from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 2 will feature bands, prizes and a Robosurfer challenge where contestants will compete for first- and second-place prizes of $500 and $300 to go to their favorite charity. The first 100 guests will be entered into a raffle for the grand prize of Free Chicken for a Year and receive a free meal coupon, redeemable on a future visit.
This location is a part of a larger expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where Pollo Tropical is adding 12 locations this fall.
