Lob a softball Friday at Whole Foods to help the Mike Modano Foundation. The foundation is setting up a dunk tank at the Whole Foods store in Lakewood Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. All the proceeds will go to Modano’s charity, which serves at-risk children and families with abuse histories. The Dallas Stars center will be on hand at the grocer’s Plano store Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. to take a seat in the booth himself.
While Modano won’t be on hand at the Lakewood event, I heard that some Whole Foods managers might get in the booth.
