Remember the North Texas Irish Festival we talked about in the "Shamrock n’ Roll" launch article for our March 2009 issue? Here’s a short recap: bagpipes, Irish brogues, steaks, stew, ales, songs, dance, and stories. It’ll all be at Dallas Fair Park this weekend, thanks to a bit of Irish luck and a whole lot of hard work. The North Texas Irish Festival starts on Friday at 6 p.m. and will run through the weekend. Tickets can be purchased at the website or any local Tom Thumb grocery store.
