If there’s any way possible that a Girl Scout didn’t show up on your front porch this year to sell cookies or if you, like me, already downed your thin mint stash you can still buy them at neighborhood retail and grovery stores over the next few days.
A quick search on the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council website shows that we can find cookies today at Lakehill Preparatory from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., or tomorrow at the Lovers and Greenville Blockbuster from 4-8 p.m. or the Mockingbird Tom Thumb from 5-7 p.m. They’ll also be at Blockbuster pretty much all day Saturday. You’ll also have a chance to buy some cookies for troops at home and overseas — last year, the Tejas Council shipped 60,000 cookies, and this year they’re hoping to send 100,000.
I wonder what percentage of the cookies mailed are thin mints.
