I just got a call from Sheila, one of the owners of the new Water Works Auto Spa on Northwest Highway at Abrams, right next to Keller’s. It used to be Colonial Car Wash, and it’s been under construction for quite some time, but Sheila said Water Works should be open for business tomorrow.
But today, while their employees are still in training, all car washes are free. I just sent my husband over there, and he said he drove through the car wash, and when he came out, employees wiped off the excess water, cleaned the inside and outside of the windows, vacuumed the interior and polished the hubcaps. That’s quite a deal! And he was in and out fast — I guess no one really knows they’re in "testing" mode. So go on — try before you buy.
