Torchy’s is coming! Torchy’s is coming! OK, OK. There’s already a Torchy’s Tacos open on SMU Boulevard, and there’s also one in North Dallas. But for everyone east of White Rock Lake, this is kind of a big deal.
The new Torchy’s in Casa Linda Plaza is expected to open as early as the end of this month, says Michael Hale of AmREIT, who leases the shopping center.
Torchy’s, an Austin-based concept that entered the Dallas market about two years ago, is going into the space formerly occupied by Souper Salad.
Also coming soon to Casa Linda Plaza is Salons By JC, which has leased a 7,000-square-foot space two doors down from Chili’s. Salons By JC is a Dallas-based concept that subleases spaces to salon service providers.
