Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m.-noon, you won’t have to drive downtown to avail yourself of a farmer’s market — the kids and parents of DISD’s Stonewall Jackson Elementary are bringing garden-fresh produce grown right here in our neighborhood to the Whole Foods on Lower Greenville. While checking out the variety of produce being sold under the awning of Whole Foods, you can also ask about the school’s garden, where the produce being sold is grown as part of a teaching program for the elementary children.
