At the risk of raining on the Kitchen 1924 parade (hehe) I wanted to mention an old fave, La Parrillada, at the Gaston-Garland Road cutoff. This is secondhand info, but from a reliable source (our talented art director Jynnette Neal). She says the neighborhood spot, like Kitchen 1924, offers a top-notch lunch including a new buffet option and, she says, "it’s real good".
