The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is hosting a date night dinner next week with celebrity chef John Tesar.
On Aug. 20, Tesar will be joined by a cast of well-respected local chefs in preparing a special Italian menu at the Arboretum’s A Tasteful Place. The multi-course meal will include wine pairings with each dish.
Alongside Tesar, Parigi’s Joel Orsini, Arboretum Food and Wine Festival co-chair Sharon Van Meter, Jay Valley of Eatzi’s and Georgie staff chef Madison Larmeu will each prepare their own part of the menu.
Tesar, known for his appearances on Top Chef, currently operates four Knife concepts. In March, it was announced that the Dallas Knife location at The Highland Dallas would close at the end of August.
Tickets for the dinners come in at $135 a person and can be found on the Arboretum’s event page.
