The Lakewood Service League is accepting provisional membership applications for 2024 to 2025. The nonprofit group is dedicated to “improving” our community by “cultivating interest among its members in the economic, educational, cultural and civic conditions of the area,” according to their mission statement.
Provisional members are expected to fulfill a number of active member requirements within their first year, including one additional project. Among those requirements are volunteering, attending meetings and participating in one Provisional service project.
Membership is finalized with a “first year dues” payment of $125.
