Dallas Police are still in search of the suspect involved in a deadly shooting in East Dallas earlier this week.

On Monday, March 25, at 3 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2300 block of Highland Road.

The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Erick Lopez, shot in the parking lot, police said.

Dallas Fire Rescue responded and took Lopez to a local hospital, where he died.

Dallas police say there is no suspect information available as of Tuesday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
