The road barrier installation aims to assist with vehicular traffic separation on Garland Road.

It is anticipated the installation will take two to three weeks to complete, according to a memorandum sent on Feb. 16 to council member Paula Blackmon.

Concrete barrier walls will be installed by TxDOT at an undisclosed future date.
