Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man seen leaving the scene of a fatal shooting in Old East Dallas on Nov. 12.

At around 11:40 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Wayne St. where police found 46-year-old Renne Gonzalez shot by an unknown suspect. The preliminary investigation determined the shooter shot the victim and left the location. 

Gonzalez was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said. 

On Tuesday, Police shared images of a man with dark facial hair, wearing a black short-sleeve t-shirt and white basketball shorts. The photo is shared below.
