Authorities are investigating an East Dallas homicide of a man who was fatally shot on Tuesday, Nov. 14, police said.
At around 4 a.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Parry Avenue, where they found 24-year-old Marco Ramirez shot at the scene, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Ramirez was taken to a local hospital where he died, police said.
Further investigation determined Ramirez was following the suspects who had stolen his father’s truck from his home. He followed the suspects to the 5300 block of Parry Avenue where he was shot.
The stolen vehicle was located in the 5200 block of Parry Avenue, the suspects left the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
