It’s almost time for DFW Restaurant Week.
This is the 25th anniversary of the annual event, which benefits charities in North Texas. In Dallas County, North Texas Food Bank is the beneficiary. Over the past 25 years, DFW Restaurant Week has raised almost $11 million.
During restaurant week, participating eateries offer special menu options and donate around 20% of the cost of each meal to select charities.
Reservations opened July 11. The event is scheduled for Aug. 8-14, though there’s a preview weekend Aug. 4-7, and some restaurants extend the event into September.
