The man suspected of killing 24-year-old Monrique Vasquez has been arrested and charged with murder, according to a statement from the Dallas Police Department.
Pedro Moreno Jr. 21, was taken into custody and transported to the Dallas Police Homicide Unit before confessing that he murdered Vasquez, a Latin male. Authorities reported Vasquez had been found bleeding in an alley at Gurley around 4 p.m. on Oct. 30.
According to the DPD, Moreno confessed to killing Vasquez and is being held at the Dallas County jail on a $500,000 bond.
