Sharon Hage of York Street has been nominated for a James Beard Award — the food business Oscars — for best chef in the Southwest. This may be her eighth nomination without winning. (It’s a Back Talk tradition not to look up the exact number of nominations because it’s too depressing.) Hage is the only Dallas nominee this year. The awards will be given May 4.
