A high-tech computer game store will replace the empty flooring store at the Skillman and Live Oak shopping center, probably before the end of the month. That’s the word from neighborhood resident Andy Clegg, who will open XMAX Games. (The web site isn’t up yet, but Clegg says it should be by the end of the week.)

This this will be a state-of-the-art game store, featuring 20 computers where you (or your children) can buy time to play World of Warcraft, Halo, and similar simulations. In addition, it will have eight BattleTech pods, which is even more state of the art. Clegg also plans miniature and Pokemon merchandise.
