In conjunction with the Writer’s Garret, author Robert Morgan will give a reading, a talk and a class next weekend. The free reading and talk takes place on Friday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture.
The next day, Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m.—1 p.m. he will teach a fiction writing class at the Writer’s Garret on 10809 Garland. The class costs $55-$70. Morgan writes poetry, fiction and nonfiction, teaches at Cornell and is well known for his novel Gap Creek, which was chosen for Oprah’s Book Club in 2000.
