It’s an exciting time if you’re a student on the Woodrow Wilson High Robotics team. The RoboCats were the top qualifying team in the BEST Robotics competition this month and will advance to the Texas University Interscholastic League State competition from December 8-10 in Frisco.
The RoboCats were the only Dallas Independent School District team to move on to the competition’s large school category, according to the ISD website. In December, the students will be up against teams from Texas and New Mexico while incorporating engineering and problem-solving in their projects. The winners will advance to the regional competitions.
