Woodrow Wilson High School hosts dignitaries from Africa and the Middle East for a symposium at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 19.
This will be the the third year Woodrow has hosted the State Department’s cultural and educational affairs office.
Representatives from Syria, Oman, Mauritania, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Chad, Egypt and Algeria will participate in a roundtable discussion with students. The discussion will examine the impact of religion on political life in the United States and the separation of church and state.
This event is free and open to the community.
