The fourth season of A Writer’s Garden Symposium and Literary Series, which is presented by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum, kicks off Wednesday.

First in the series is “A Woman’s Garden: En Plein Air”. Artists will lead sessions in photography, painting, drawing, journal writing and gardening. It’s from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, and tickets are $35. All proceeds benefit A Woman’s Garden at the arboretum.
