A 49-year-old Dallas woman faces a murder charge on Sunday for the death of a man in Old East Dallas after officers found the victim shot to death, according to a Dallas police report.

Officers responded to a call at 1:50 AM on August 27 at the 4800 block of Ash Lane. Upon arrival, officers found a man with a fatal gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 34-year-old Joshua Troutte, died from the injury.

Detectives determined that the alleged shooter, Patricia Conlon, 49, was responsible for the fatal shooting and was arrested and charged with Murder that same day.

The investigation is ongoing, documented under case number 154596-2023.
