The YMCA of White Rock — for the second consecutive year — has shattered its fund-raising goal, and we have video of the campaign chairman having his head shaved during the group’s monthly board meeting.
You might have read about the financial bonanza in our April magazine; the neighborhood YMCA exceeded its goal of $180,000 by more than $20,000. And campaign chairman Greg Courtwright “volunteered” to shave his head if the goal was met.
Turns out Courtwright has, or make that had, quite a bit of curly hair until Monday, when someone from SportsClips visited the YMCA and liberated his scalp.
