This year’s White Rock YMCA partners campaign, which raises funds to operate the YMCA and helps fund scholarships for families that can’t afford to participate in Y programs, raised more than $138,000 this year, according to YMCA director Derek Smith. The number of donors also jumped from about 200 last year to more than 530 this year. Smith cited YMCA board member and neighborhood resident Jack Dunn’s leadership for the successful campaign.
