White Rock YMCA executive director Derek Smith has been named the Dallas YMCA network’s top executive, according to White Rock Y board chairman Richard Vitale.
Smith recently received the Bill Botts Award from the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, signifying Smith’s "boundless energy, remarkable leadership and drive to ensure that our Partners Campaign was the best ever," Vitale says.
There are 23 YMCA executives in the metropolitan Dallas area.
