The program brought 28 rowers, representing 14 Dallas-area high schools, to the competition. Races began on Thursday, June 12, and finished Sunday, June 15.
White Rock Rowing launched five boats, all of which placed in the top 10 in their respective finals. The men’s varsity straight four team brought home the bronze as the top sweep boat from Texas and the entire central region.
“We’re so proud of how the team showed up at nationals this year,” said Caitlynn Crouch, the men’s varsity coach. “We had rowers competing in all four racing groups — varsity and novice boys’ and girls’ — which shows how strong and well-rounded the White Rock program has become.”

The men’s youth 4-, women’s youth 4+, men’s U17 4+, men’s U16 4x+ and women’s U17 8+ teams placed third, first, second, eighth and fourth, respectively.
“Nationals was an awesome way to cap off a season full of hard work and growth across the entire White Rock Rowing team,” said Kevin Jones, program director at White Rock Rowing.
