A new farmer’s market plus is coming to the neighborhood, next to Green Spot a bio-deisel/ health food convenience store on Buckner at Northcliff. Vendors at White Rock Local Market — open the second Saturday of every month beginning June 13 — will peddle fresh local produce, meat and dairy, plus locally made goods such as artwork, furniture, clothes and music.
Second Saturday of the month is also the FTLOTL Second Saturday Spruce-Up, for which volunteers meet just up the road — so you can do a little service work and then visit the market. Think how good and wholesome you’ll feel.
