Puppy playtime will have to be put on hold when the White Rock Lake Dog Park closes temporarily for maintenance.
The park at 8000 E. Mockingbird Lane will close Oct. 14 and reopen Oct. 26.
During the closure, staff will work on conditioning the soil, cultivating new turf and making repairs to the irrigation and drainage systems, District 9 City Councilwoman Paula Blackmon said in a Facebook post.
