White Rock Lake is training water for high school rowers.
If you read the June story about the White Rock rowers preparing for a long, long race, and it inspired you to learn more about kayaking or canoeing, you are in luck because Saturday, June 4 is National Learn to Row Day.
White Rock Boathouse, Inc. reps will be out at the Boathouse at White Rock Lake from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to school you on the basics. Junior high and high school students and adults will have an opportunity to register for camps and classes.
