If you go by the construction site at 1000 Emerald Isle, you’ll find PSW’s sign in a trash heap. Things have been relatively quiet since the medical offices were demolished earlier this year.
But although it looks like construction efforts have been abandoned, spokeswoman Meridith Brewer says PSW hasn’t given up on its plans to build 16 single-family homes and 14 townhomes ranging from 1,700-2,200 square feet.
Most of the work being right now is underground, and there was a brief lull in construction, she says. We’ll start seeing more aboveground activity around first of November, and things will start “going vertical” around the first of the year.
